THE Hall of Flame

Sneakerheads got more than they bargained for at the largest single display of the sweetest kicks in Singapore! Gathered from local and regional private collectors, the showcase of 200 pairs of rare sneakers comprised never-before-released samples, limited editions and player exclusives including Louis Vuitton x Kanye West Jaspers and the Nike Air Mag from “Back To The Future”.

WALK OF FAME

You came, you strutted, and you posted (on Instagram)—we were duly impressed by the flow of fine kicks that graced the Street Superior photography pedestal.

SKATE RAMP

Vans and Pirate Life brought it with a full-sized indoor ramp, and the skaters and sick skills to match. Over the weekend, we watched as you showed off your tricks, picked up more tricks at skate clinics, and traded tips over craft beers with the rest of the skate community.

Fans of PONY and designer Yong Bae Seok not only got first dibs on the limited edition PONY x Yong Bae Seok capsule collection, but also got their kicks signed by the fashion maven himself, who was in town to meet and chat with attendees.

TIMBERLAND

TIMBERLAND

Another one for the books came from Timberland, who brought along 45 special edition pairs of their iconic Yellow Boot on a travelling showcase—one for each anniversary they’ve celebrated. Notable collaborations with Mastermind, Off-white, Opening Ceremonyand Stussy were also on display, as attendees tried their hand at designing their own pairs of Mini Timberlands.

LIMITED EDT

For one weekend only, we saw homegrown shoe retailer Limited Edt as we’d never seen them before—reimagined as a neighbourhood sundry shop. With high-profile launches as well as selections from the retailer’s sneaker archive, it was no surprise that LE Convenience became one of the most packed corners of Pasir Panjang Power Station.

ART & MUSIC

With a sweet mix of destination stalls and graffiti art lining the alleyways, we’re betting there were more than just a handful of street culture converts post-Festival.

TATTOOS & BARBERS

What better way to complement a fresh pair of sneakers than with some new ink or the tightest shave? The crews at The Golden Rule Barber Co. and Lovesick Tattoos made sure to bring both, placing attendees in good hands with their teams of skilled stylists and tattoo artists. Not ready for the real thing? Jynk Ink provided temporary inked art using jagua ink, a fruit-based gel that is just as intense in colour and intricate in design.

What else could we expect from multidisciplinary creative platform FLABSLAB, than a full-on cartoon art series called Mis-Adventure Time? Merchandise including sculptures, T-shirts and even carpets were retailing at their pop-up, all inspired by the misadventures of a boy and his dog.
