GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION

 

WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL HELD?

Street Superior Festival 2019 will be held at:
*SCAPE
2 Orchard Link
Singapore 237978

The festival is a 2-day packed event throughout the whole of *SCAPE! We have three ticket only access areas:

  • The Ground Theatre, Level 2

  • The Playspace, Level 1 (Main Tent & Festival Village)

  • Function Rooms, Level 5 

All other areas of *SCAPE are open to the general public. We will have event content in:

  • Youth Plaza (where the F&B outlets are), Level 1

  • Retail spaces, Level 2

  • Balcony, Level 4

WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL OPENING HOURS?

Sat 2nd November & Sun 3rd November 2019
12pm – 10pm

 

WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS AND HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?

Tickets sold before the event days are:

2-day ticket - $20
1-day ticket - $15

These pre-event ticket prices are valid up until 11:59pm on Friday 1st November 2019. After this time, any tickets sold will be done so on the day price.

Tickets on the day are:

1-day ticket - $20

A 1-day ticket can be used on either Saturday or Sunday.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

 

How do i get to the festival?

We would recommend using public transport to reach the festival.

Train — Somerset MRT is the closest MRT station a 5 minute walk.

Bus — Nearby bus routes include:

  • National Youth Council; 7, 7A, 14, 16, 36, 36A, 36B, 65, 77, 106, 111, 123, 174, 174e, 175, 971e
  • Opp Mandarin Orchard; 36, 36B, 77, 124, 128, 143, 162, 162M, 167, 167e, 171, 174, 174e, 190, 190A, 518, 518A, 700, 700A, 971E, 972, 971A, NR6

Taxi — the drop off point will be at the *SCAPE lobby on level 2.

Drive — if you drive there are nearby parking locations at:

  • Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, 8 Grange Road,Singapore 239695
  • Grange Road Car Park, 96 Somerset Rd, Singapore 238163
  • Ngee Ann City, 391A Orchard Rd, Singapore 238873
  • Comcentre, Exeter Road, Basement Car Park, Singapore 239732

The parking at *SCAPE has limited space available and will be available on a first come first served basis.

 

IS RE-ENTRY ALLOWED IF I NEED TO LEAVE THE EVENT VENUE?

Yes so long as you’re wearing the valid event day tag, re-entry will be permitted.

 

IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION TO ATTEND?

Street Superior 2019 is open to all ages!

Kids under 9 years come in for free with an accompanying adult. Children 9 years and over will need a ticket to access the event. IDs will be checked at the door.

People are welcome to bring strollers to the event however there is nowhere to park your strollers once onsite.

 

WHAT IF IT’S RAINING?

The event is a rain or shine event! We are using all areas of *SCAPE for the festival but not all outdoor areas will be sheltered, therefore we recommend you bring an umbrella with you.

 

WILL MY BAGS BE CHECKED AT THE DOOR?

Yes for the safety of everyone, all bags will be checked by security at the door. No outside alcoholic beverages will be allowed into the festival and will be confiscated by our security team.

 

Is there air conditioning at the festival?

We are pleased to announce that there will be air conditioning for all indoor areas at the festival this year.

 

Is there FREE WIFI ONSITE?

There is wifi available through *SCAPE.

 

Is there an ATM at the festival

There is a DBS ATM onsite at *SCAPE, #02-07/08. You can find other bank ATM’s at the nearby Cineleisure and Ngee Ann City.

 

IS THERE A CLOAKROOM AT THE FESTIVAL?

There is no cloakroom available at the festival. Any bags or items left unattended will be removed by security.

 

ARE ANIMALS ALLOWED AT THE FESTIVAL?

Pets are not allowed into the festival with the exception of service dogs for the disabled. We advise you leave your pets at home.

 

WHERE ARE THE RESTROOMS LOCATED?

The are restrooms located on each level of the building.

 

IS THERE A SMOKING AREA?

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building and within property lines. A dedicated smoking zone is located outside Cineleisure and McDonalds.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF SOMEONE IN MY GROUP IS UNWELL/GETS HURT?

In case anyone falls ill or gets injured onsite there will be a medic team on standby within the Playspace of *SCAPE. If you need help, please approach any of the festival CREW or security team members and they will be able to assist you.

Please note that as festival organisers we have taken the necessary precautions and liaised with the necessary authorities to ensure the festival grounds are safe for all to enjoy.  Anyone found using any element of the property and event set up in a dangerous manner will be asked to leave the event and the police will be notified. Anyone found damaging or interfering with the property or event set up will be dealt with in the same manner.

Attendees and participants in the event do so at their own risk.  Street Superior will not be liable for any death, personal injury (unless such death or personal injury was caused by the negligence of Street Superior), loss or damage to their persons or personal belongings.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

 

IS THERE FOOD AND BEVERAGE AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?

There are multiple food and beverage outlets within *SCAPE and the surrounding area.  Please note that outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed and will be confiscated by our security team at the bag check points.

To make the festival enjoyable for all, please be considerate to other festival goers and throw away your rubbish in the bins provided.

WILL ALCOHOL BE SERVED AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes there will be alcohol on sale at the event so IDs will be checked at the door. Those under 18 or unable to prove that they are over 18 will be tagged as under age. Our vendors reserve the right to refuse service to anyone they suspect is under the legal drinking age of 18 or suspect that the alcohol is being bought for someone under age. Our onsite security will ask offenders to leave the event site and can call the Singapore Police Force if necessary.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR GOODS OR FOOD/DRINKS AT THE FESTIVAL?

Each vendor will be using their own payment systems of which some may allow credit cards and/or NETS, however we would also recommend you bring cash with you.

 
 
 
 

Lucky Draws

 

HOW DO I ENTER INTO THE LUCKY DRAW?

Once again, we’ve gathered a mountain of prizes to give away!  

Mechanics will be different this year but don’t worry, each ticket equals one entrance into the lucky draw. There is no limit to the number of tickets you can purchase, however, you must be onsite at the event to claim your prize.


Entry to the lucky draw will be via our festival app.  Instead of entering the draw for all the prizes you will be able to select and enter for the prize you want to win.  You will find a display of all the prizes up for grabs at the Main Tent of the festival.

  1. Enter your name and contact details

  2. Scan the QR code on the prize you want to win

  3. Scan the QR code on your wristband

  4. Wait for the draw!

WHERE DO I COLLECT MY PRIZE?

Prizes will be collected from the Lucky Draw booth located in the Main Tent of the festival . You will need to show the wristband you entered the draw with and your ID to claim your prize.


You will have 60 minutes to collect your prize. Prizes that are not claimed within that time will be redrawn.

 
 
 

 Trading at the Festival

 

CAN I BRING SHOES/APPAREL/ACCESSORIES TO TRADE AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes. Each guest can bring up to TWO pairs of shoes and FOUR pieces of apparel/accessories to buy/sell/trade within the TRADING PIT only.

You are however, only allowed to CARRY these shoes to the TRADING PIT and out of respect for the vendors who have purchased booth space or a table, anyone caught setting up their own makeshift stalls outside of the pit will be asked to move. 

HOW DO I KNOW IF I’VE BOUGHT A LEGITIMATE PRODUCT?

Please check any purchase(s) for defects or legitimacy.

Street Superior will not be held responsible for any transactions made by any guests.

Counterfeit / Replica / Fakes / INSPIRED shoes are prohibited at Street Superior 2019. Anyone found selling or attempting to sell such items will be asked to leave the event and a report will be lodged with the relevant authorities.
